Degeneration of a Housewife's Attire

I realized today that the course of my life over the past few years can be summed up by looking at the clothing stores where I have shopped.

When I first met Geoff, I was a GAP regular. I knew my size (6 ...) and everything there fit great. I love the favorite T's and the long and lean jeans and everything about GAP clothes.

Then I moved here and Banana Republic opened up. So I became a Banana Republic fanatic. I loved the sales, wanted everything in the store, and even bought Geoff a BR outfit as a wedding present (he was complaining about not having anything "nice" to wear for rehearsal dinner ...).

Around this time, I also started loving Anthropologie and J. Crew. J. Crew has the BEST sales ever and it's safe to say I went insane last year buying about 100 dresses for the bridal shower, and for honeymooning. The dress I got for myself to wear to the rehearsal dinner came from Anthropologie.

And then I got pregnant and had a baby and stopped working.

And now?

I'm really looking forward to the Old Navy $12 jeans sale going on tomorrow.

I may even buy 2 pair.

The hair in the profile picture? You look too, too good. It's all so vintage rockabilly Betty Pageish. Bravo, pumpkin pirate mommy.
