Tomorrow Phoebe is getting her 6-month checkup. Her appointment is a little later than it should have been because of the nonsense of insurance deductibles and their not being met in 2008 and scheduling the appointment in 2009 will save us $200 (a portion of which I'm hoping to convince Geoff to allow me to spend on a pair of I-don't-need-them-but-I-want-them Uggs)

The important part of the story is that Phoebe is getting her next round of vaccines tomorrow. I hate those days. I know it's going to be a long day. Her appointment is at 8:30, so all day is going to be "off".

And in addition to the vaccines, tomorrow I'm getting back on my diet bandwagon (stupid Christmas calories) and tomorrow also marks Geoff's first day back at work since the day before Christmas Eve, and also my first day back on the phone for my part-time work.

There's a lot going on.

I'd really like to be back in Monterey taking a nap after drinking a Red Hook with nothing to do except to do nothing.

And tomorrow, as it happens each day, Phoebe is one day older.

I hate tomorrow.
