It's the little things

I don't care what else is going on in my life, but if I can manage to get my kitchen counters totally cleaned and wiped down at least once a week(I'm talking, moving stuff out of the way and wiping behind it), I feel pretty darn good about things.

Also, getting new cloth diapers tends to help. I ordered one of the "special" spring colors of BumGenius 3.0 and it came today. And I thought "I sure hope if we have another baby that baby is a girl, because if not, that boy is gonna be wearing some pink diaper hand-me-downs".

Also, I started a new blog ... for recipes ... and if you're interested, you can join (caveat: you gotta post recipes though, or at least try the ones posted and report back!). It's just supposed to be a way for us to keep track of and share our favorite recipes. I totally copied my friend, but I don't think she'll mind.

Also! Oh! Friday I get to get out of the house and go to Morro Bay to hang out with Annie and Joey YEAH! In my imagination, we're gonna pop into the Buoy for a cocktail while wearing our babies. What? They're not gonna drink too much. Most likely it'll be a beer at Chapala, but I'll take what I can get. And the Buoy probably doesn't have high chairs.

And Geoff didn't get too mad about the Sears pictures. He thought they were cute. I guess they aren't THAT terrible, but next time I'm DEFINITELY ignoring my mom (why I didn't do it this last time is beyond me) and just going to Katie.

Oh and I ordered BabyLegs from HauteLook today for way cheap. Can't WAIT to get them (sadly I know it takes FOREVER for their stuff to ship, but oh well -- waiting for package to arrive is like the best thing EVER).

We had gyros for dinner with the leftover lamb from Easter and (patting self on back) they were pretty darn good. Phoebe loved the hummus and tahini and flatbread. Geoff and I are loving the wine.

And my kitchen counters are so clean I just want to stare at them forever.

And! Tonight is LOST.

I really wish I had more days like this.

CAN'T WAIT for tomorrow :) No high chairs at the Buoy, but we could totally put the car seats up on the pool table lol!
