Why I Love Geoff

Geoff and I have been talking forever about wanting a Wii.

Actually, *I* have been doing the talking (my best sales pitches, people) and he has been doing all the saying No, we don't need one.

So you can imagine my excitement when I received an email from him with the subject: "Wiiii".

He sent a link to a news story about Wal-Mart selling Wiis for $150 (well, they're $199 and you get a $50 gift card when you buy one, so, they're sorta $150).

I'm not sure -- in Geoff-speak -- if that means I have the green light to go buy one, so I'm just going to let it lie.

I sent him a reply that included that we could use the $50 toward the purchase of the BIG FANCY PANTS TV we plan on buying soon (YAY maybe that means people will come to our house to watch Superbowl FINALLY and we won't have to eat all that food alone ... wait ... that might not be a good thing).

I also included telling him not to worry TOO MUCH because I entered dooce's contest to win an Xbox. I told him "Hey, we have a 1 out of 7535 chance of winning!" and also told him that wasn't right because actually she's giving away 5 of them so the odds are BETTER.

He replied, simply:

5:7,535 = 0.066% chance of winning

This is why he pays the bills, folks.
