This is my life

Yesterday afternoon I changed Jack's diaper (which included taking off his onesie because --in case you didn't know-- boys go potty ALL OVER THEIR CLOTHES which I'm certain is a precursor to going all over the toilet) and in the time it took me to walk into the kitchen, throw the diaper away, throw the dirty onesie into the garage (in front of the washing machine = laundry basket) and wash my hands, Jack started crying.

When I went to the living room, I found out why.

... and in other news, Phoebe recently learned how to make the sign for "help".

I'm sorry, I just completely cracked up. This is too cute!

IKEA has great color-coded packs of little terry cloth towels that are GREAT for pee towels--little white towels with different color hook hangers on the corners. We bought two sets of 12. He gained control of the spontaneous peeing around 6 months, so we don't even use them anymore, but while we did, they were *indispensible*! :)

Oooh Allison -- good idea! BUUUUUUUUUUUT I was referring to (which I now realize was unclear) the fact that his diapers ALWAYS seem to freaking leak!!! Of course not lately (thank the Lord Jesus) but I swear, there's always pee up the sides of his diaper -- like up his ribcage. ALWAYS! Drives me nuts! And, yes, I make sure that his boyparts are pointing DOWN.

But um I'll take any excuse to shop Ikea so ... thanks for that :D

(you do know that Allison is HIGH on our "next daughter" girl name list, right!?!? aaaaaand we both have sons named Jack -- who would have guessed that like 12 years ago -- ha!)
